OUR STORY
Travis Daniels
Never underestimate the power of someone's will,
whether it be for good or evil.
Travis discovered music at the age of 16. Sitting around with his best friends from high school he began to learn chords and scales on a keyboard. In his senior year of high school his friend and him were in a fatal car accident but both somehow survived. Travis was actually thrown from the car. 100 yards or the entire length of a football field. Miraculously, Travis suffered a concussion and his friend minor scrapes and bruises. It is still not known how Travis escaped the vehicle because the entire driver side was completely crushed in.
This incident would inevitably be a significant life-changing moment. While most students in high school were socializing, Travis spent most his time composing his own music on his Korg synthesizer. It was the only healthy therapeutic way of coping with such a traumatic event. Travis would now compose music every free moment he got.
After graduating Auburn in 2003 and interning at various recording studios during his summers, he was eager to learn how to become a professional sound engineer. Over the years Travis spent days, even weeks perfecting his craft and working with a number of both famous and up and coming artists.
In 2006 he slowly started building his own recording facility with the sole purpose of creating original content. In 2008 he finally got incorporated and started working on all types of music.
While all of this was going on the music business was facing massive cutbacks everywhere. From Napster to MP3’s and now streaming he began to explore and pursue his 2nd favorite passion, Technology.
In 2013 he joined Outdoor Sportsman group, an Outdoor Media Company and was immediately promoted to help work on their digital apps. After several years of learning about websites, apps and digital products it dawned on him. He wanted to make his entire music catalogue available to the world, and reasonable. This would give him the freedom to continue to write great music, and also take away the headaches of dealing with major labels and publishers.
He is proud to be able to offer great music at an affordable rate for any kind of budget or situation.
Testimonials
I remember after my first session at Trace Studios with Travis Daniels (*hits high note* yeeeeeeah) I said to Dave "I wanna do a whole project with him!" And in good old September/October of this year it hit me: I actually did a whole project with Trav. And it really forced me to deal with my insecurities about recording and hearing myself rap. At that point, Trav gave me a platform to really deal with it in a way that was therapeutic and craft-strengthening. My ear is a little different now. Other sonic shapes and sounds move me in a different way now.

Happy one year anniversary to a song 10 years in the making. "Unhappy" came to life though the mind of Lesley G., and on this day one year ago she recorded a song that became a hit to everyone who heard it...man, I still can't believe how this track traveled in time from being a scribble on a pad in 2000 to landing in a recording booth at Trace Studios with Master Engineer Travis Daniels in 2011. This was a crowning moment in our music endeavors to produce a song such as this. "Unhappy" exceeded all of our expectations and I am so proud to have been part of such a beautiful musical composition, performed by one talented singer-songwriter, and a group of people that fully believe in her ability.
